Mondo Grass is a low-growing, grass-like perennial prized for its neat, compact appearance and excellent ground-cover performance. Though commonly called a grass, it is actually a member of the lily family. It forms dense clumps of dark green foliage and produces small pale lavender flowers in summer, followed by blue-black berries.
