Hibiscus mutabilis, commonly known as Confederate Rose, is a stunning flowering shrub admired for its large, showy blooms that change color as they age. Flowers often open white in the morning and gradually turn pink to deep rose by evening — creating a beautiful multicolor effect on the same plant.

Despite its name, it is not a true rose but belongs to the hibiscus family.
